Learning about house rule and going potty outside ... its a beginning.
Love to be held so get lots of that in while they are little.
Patient when being groomed and love a treat for reward!

Time is flying by as we're already at the half way point to meeting our forever families!
We are eating from our bowls now with first really soft blended puppy food and now just soaked!
This will help mom wean us slowly as we start with 2 meals a day.
Oh boy what an appetite these little golden nuggets have!

Just 3 weeks ... and so many changes in 21 days!!
Avalon's little golden nuggets are such a happy litter of puppies :)
They are so comfortable being picked up, moved or held for all the routine care they get each day!
Momma is there for many meals a day and it shows in their weight chart!
Avalon probably eats one cup of food for each puppy at this time... that's 7-8 cups a day!!
Today Avalon got to finally go play in the water a bit on these hot day!
She just might be passing on her love of chasing the sprinklers!!
After this day we will be introducing the puppies to their new layout for sleeping and eating in a safe area.
At the end of this week small introduction to puppy food coming!
More toys coming their way so watch the silliness coming !!
Clumsy is their mode of travel for now.
They have started to find their tiny voices to talk to each other while awake!
Sleeping is still their favorite thing to do.

She's a great momma and is always with her puppies making sure they are clean and getting their bellies full.
In another 7-14 days they will start to open their eyes and develop their sight
and right now they are deaf but their hearing develops in about 14 days.
For now it's all about Mom with touch and smell.
And they sure let you know when they can't quite find their momma or siblings!
Dew claws removed, nails trimmed and began Early Neurological Stimulation.
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) is a process that introduces mild stresses to very young puppies in a controlled way. These stresses help stimulate the neurological system which improves the growth and development of the pup's immune system, cardiovascular system, and stress tolerance. From day 3 to day 16.
We also weigh our new babies daily till they are 2 weeks old.
